Computer Centre Tanzania is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Support Engineer to join its technical team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the solution lifecycle, from network design and pre-sales support to implementation, troubleshooting, and managed services. Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable, and high-performance network architectures that meet customer and business requirements.
- Implement network solutions that deliver optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Provide technical expertise during client meetings and respond to technical inquiries.
- Conduct comprehensive network assessments to identify performance improvements and optimization opportunities.
- Deliver Level 2 managed services support by resolving complex technical issues and minimizing network downtime.
- Monitor network performance and ensure the reliability of IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Develop project documentation, including network designs, configuration documents, and network diagrams.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to post-sales implementation teams.
- Visit customer sites to provide technical support and managed IT services when required.
- Deliver technical presentations to customers and stakeholders.
- Install and configure network infrastructure, security, and collaboration solutions.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Proven experience in network engineering, particularly in pre-sales support and network configuration.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and Sophos is an added advantage.
- Experience designing and implementing wired and wireless network solutions.
- Experience using network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, and PRTG.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Fortinet NSE 4
- Sophos Architect Certification
- Other relevant networking and security certifications
