Working within the HME Department, successful candidates will operate heavy mining equipment in support of daily mining activities while ensuring compliance with operational plans and strict safety standards. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy mining equipment safely and efficiently in support of mining operations.
- Carry out assigned tasks in accordance with operational plans and production targets.
- Conduct routine inspections of heavy machinery before and after operation.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and report equipment defects promptly.
- Ensure machinery is operated in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Report hazards, incidents, and equipment faults to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other team members to achieve operational objectives.
- Maintain accurate operational records as required.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and mining regulations.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating heavy mining machinery.
- Valid heavy machinery operator’s license.
- Professional certificate in Heavy Machinery Operation.
- Completion of Secondary School Education.
- Valid Tanzanian driving licence with Class C, D, E, and F.
- Ability to read and write English proficiently.
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate.
- Willingness to undergo mandatory pre-employment medical examinations.
