Main duties include:
- Preparing and serving food to patients
- Maintaining food hygiene and cleanliness
- Operating kitchen equipment correctly
- Receiving and checking food supplies
- Checking the quality and quantity of stock
- Packing supplies in designated storage areas
- Completing internal requisitions when required
- Cleaning food preparation and storage areas
- Following prescribed cleaning and hygiene procedures
- Supporting the efficient operation of the food-service unit
