Position Details

  • Position: Compliance Executive
  • Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Responsibilities

  • Conduct due diligence reviews and follow up on due diligence questionnaires.
  • Support business teams and third parties throughout the due diligence process.
  • Coordinate the affiliate’s Tone at the Top compliance programme.
  • Promote awareness of the company’s Code of Conduct and compliance policies.
  • Assist in organizing quarterly compliance training for employees and relevant external stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of the company’s compliance programme.
  • Work with departments to ensure policies and procedures align with TotalEnergies Group directives.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Department to ensure completion of mandatory e-learning and compliance training.
  • Deliver compliance awareness sessions for service station staff, dealers, transporters, vendors, and other business partners.
  • Monitor and record customer complaints related to ethics and compliance.
  • Prepare and update compliance reports, including annual compliance reporting.
  • Promote compliance with TotalEnergies Golden Rules and the use of STOP Cards.
  • Create purchase orders and process goods receipts for the Finance and Accounts Department.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for compliance and administrative records.
  • Distribute memos, letters, and official documents to relevant departments.
  • Receive and maintain records of invoices from various departments.
  • Ensure Finance and Accounts staff have adequate office stationery and supplies.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work professionally with people at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Professional report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Action-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
